Í samstarfi við Listahátið í Reykjavík.

Afhjúpað verður nýtt verk sem byggir á heimsmynd fjölbreytts hóps kvenna. Það er saga á bak við hverja konu – og hvert listrænt tákn þeirra. Kynnist sköpunarferli Söguhrings kvenna þar sem listin er notuð sem sameiginlegt tungumál. Söguhringur kvenna er samstarf Borgarbókasafnsins og Samtaka kvenna af erlendum uppruna á Íslandi.

Viðburðurinn er hluti af samstarfsverkefni Listahátíðar í Reykjavík, Rauða krossins og Norræna húsins í tilefni af sýningu Anssi Pulkkinen Street View (Reassembled) við Norræna húsið.

The World View of The Women’s Story Circle
In collaboration with the Reykjavik Arts Festival.

A new artwork expressing the world view of a diverse group of women will be unveiled. There is a story behind each woman – and each of their artistic symbols. Learn about the creative process of The Women’s Story Circle where art is used as a common language. Story Circle is a collaboration between Reykjavik City Library and W.O.M.E.N. in Iceland.

This event is part of the extensive and diverse programme of events connected to the artwork Street View (Reassembled) organised by the Reykjavik Arts Festival, the Nordic House and Red Cross.

All the events are free and opened to all.
