W.O.M.E.N is glad to announce we will be having our World Food Café on Thursday the 4th of April.
This month food from the Philippines will be tickling our taste buds! Evelyn, Tess, and Marvi from Project Pearl International -Iceland will be our chef’s extraordinaire*. The food culture in the Philippines is colourful, diverse, and we look forward to the opportunity to taste a bit of the Philippines here in Iceland.
On this evening we have the opportunity to experience a “Filipino Boodle Fight”. This is not the usual evening meal as guests will be eating with their hands. This tradition has nothing to do with a “fight”, the term comes from the military practice of eating with their hands.
Do not miss out on this unique opportunity to take part in this fun Filipino tradition and have fun with new friends.
As always, we welcome all women! Although we ask that you leave your children at home, we do understand if you have a breastfed infant that cannot be without you.
