NEET (not in employment, education or training) project sponsored by ASÍ putting out a call for participants in a focus group! !

ASÍ is looking for participants in a research project about the experiences and reality of young women with a foreign background who have at one point, or another been unemployed and not in education in Iceland.

Criteria for participants:

English-speaking women (age 18-30) who have a foreign background who have at one point, or another been unemployed and not in education in Iceland (preferably for more than one year).

The focus group interview will take approximately 2 hours and will be conducted in central Reykjavík.

As a token of gratitude for the participation, all participants will receive a 5.000 ISK gift card from a bank (which can be used anywhere). This project is financed by a grant from the Gender equality fund of Iceland (í. Jafnréttissjóður Íslands).

The goal of the research is to gain insights into the reality and experiences of young women with a foreign background who are not employed nor in education. We hope to gain information on how your needs can be better met in the Icelandic society. The research is based on the information gathered from this focus group interview. Confidentiality is insured and treatment of personal information is according to Icelandic laws nr. 90/2018 about the protection of personal data.
