Career enhancement event

On the 8th of June Capacent will, in conjunction with Women in Iceland, invite 20 women of foreign origin who currently live in Iceland to take part in a career enhancement event and assist them in moving forward on the Icelandic job market. The main goal is to increase their career opportunities by enabling them to better leverage their education, skills and experience.
Capacent is a leading consultancy firm built on the extensive experience and knowledge of its employees. The consultants at Capacent want to share their expertise of the Icelandic job market and best practice in self-promotion with this group of women. The consultants also wish to get a better understanding of their circumstances and the challenges they face in finding a suitable role and thereby facilitate equality in recruitment practices here in Iceland.
Capacent specializes amongst other things in recruiting for specialized and managerial roles and this event is geared towards women who want to increase their chances of finding a role suitable to their employment and educational background.
The training will be both in Icelandic and English.
The agenda will be as follows:
Workshops 9am-2pm:
- Opportunities within the Icelandic job market
- Getting the most out of available job opportunities
- CV and cover letter writing
- Job interview preparations
One-on-one consultations with recruitment consultants between 2pm-4pm.
